Scott M. Wakerley, CPA
Scott Wakerley has been working in public accounting since 2000, where he earned his certification at the national accounting firm, BDO Seidman, LLP, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After gaining valuable experience in a vast array of both tax and accounting services, Scott decided to establish his own CPA firm. He has been operating his own CPA Firm since the Fall of 2004, focusing on a variety of tax and accounting services for both individuals and small businesses.
Scott is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is professionally affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Scott is a member of the Newaygo Area Chamber of Commerce. He previously held the position of Treasurer and was a Charter Member of the BDO Toastmaster's Club, a local affiliate of the Toastmaster's International organization. He has also devoted time to the Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program in past years.
Scott is married to Sara and has two children, Maysen and Brianna, to whom he devotes as much free time as possible.
